ABOUT US
Since the passing away of Mr.P.I.Sonkamble in January 2010, the Pralhad Irbaji Sonkamble Pratisthan was in consideration. Due to everyone's job commitments, devotion of time was the most difficult barrier. However, as the years passed, students, friends, and colleagues of Mr.P.I.Sonkamble recommended us to proceed with the establishment of this NGO. Mr.P.I.Sonkamble leveraged his writings and speeches to raise social consciousness and inspire many students and public at large. He symbolized patience, hard work , honesty, and philanthropy, to name a few qualities.
We, the Sonkamble family, including Dr. Prakash Kadam, Mr. Sanjay Ingle, and Mrs. Sunita Ingle, want to expand on his work. As part of our societal responsibility, we want to employ at least a few people. We wish to help economically disadvantaged persons in learning, developing skills, and becoming self-sufficient.We all decided to go forward with the NGO structure after much deliberation and contemplation. Dr. Prakash Kadam deserves a lot of credit. He took the initiative and established the NGO. He was in charge of the initial documentation as well as the upkeep of the bylaws.
